Beaver Scout activities often include:

· Nature walks - country code and wildlife

· Visits to a Police Station, Fire Station and churches

· Collecting necessities for children overseas

· How to use a public telephone box

· Learning about disablement - for example a visit from a blind person with guide dog

· Learning about tents, maps and compasses

· Making greeting cards for family and friends

· Cooking on real fires
