Squirrels

Wednesdays 5.15pm-6.15pm

The Squirrel Scouts section is the first section in the 7th Woking Scout Group for young people usually aged between four and six years old.

Here the first steps in learning scouting skills start in a fun way.

Easily recognised by their distinctive bright orange sweatshirts, Squirrel Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others.

The 7th Woking Squirrel Scouts meet once a week, on Wednesdays during term time. The Drey has been running since April 2024 with an exciting programme of crafts, food, games and activities.

The Squirrels also take part with the Beaver, Cub and Scout sections in Scouts Own, Remembrance Day and St. George Day Parades.

Squirrel Scouts can earn badges for activities that they take part in, and can also earn badges for completing challenges that build towards the highest award in Squirrel Scouting: the Chief Scout's Acorn Award.

Squirrel Scouts move up to Beaver Scouts, at the age of eight.
