TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE HIRE OF THE 7TH WOKING SCOUT HALL

• £25.00 per hour (or part thereof, minimum 3 hour)

• Hire fees are payable in full at the time of booking. A booking is not confirmed until receipt of fees.

• In addition there is a refundable security deposit of £100

• In the event of cancellation within 14 days of the event, the hirer forfeits any right to receive a refund of payment other than the deposit, which may be refunded in full.

• You are responsible for the hall and the people in it at all times during the hire.

• You are responsible for cleaning the hall at the end of your hire - please allow time to do within your hire period.

• You are required to take your rubbish away with you as we do not have any facilities for rubbish disposal at the hall.

• COVID-19: It is your responsibility to ensure that you follow the government guidelines on indoor gatherings and that you comply with the NHS guidance on contact tracing (if applicable).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• The main hall is approximately 20m x 10m

• There are plenty of go pack style collapsible tables and chairs. There are also benches which sometimes suit smaller children.

• The kitchen has a large cooker, microwave, kettle and a fridge with a serving hatch that connects to the hall

• Toilets are gents, ladies and disabled.

• Wi-Fi is available - the code will be available to you on the day of your event upon request

• Parking is available either under the 3G pitches opposite the building or in the main Woking Leisure Centre Car park (please note that charges apply). There is time restricted parking outside the building for loading and unloading.

• Please inform a member of 7th Woking Scout Group (likely to be your contact for hire) of any issues as soon as possible.

• Please observe the “one-way” system for those arriving and leaving when either dropping off or picking up.

• Applicable to regular bookings only: 7th Woking Scout activities take priority over other external hall bookings. Wherever possible we will work round this to ensure limited disruption to your activities but in the event that hall is required on a day that you have a booking we will notify you in advance giving as much notice as possible.
